Ive heard I can run my parallel loop like a series loop if i adjust
my effects loop knobs. What do I set the knobs at to run in series?

If there is a Mix knob, turn it down for as close to series as you are going to get. You may have better luck asking the manufacturer of the device you are talking about or at least letting us know what it is.

*Bonus for those playing at home* I will send a couple Voodoo Lab Stickers to whoever guesses the correct device and posts their answer before james!

Welp... my Laney VH100R has parallel effects loops for each channel (as well as a switchable parallel/series effects 'master' effects loop) so I reckon it'll be a beast of an amp... Soldano, JVM, or Mesa maybe? Mesa Dual Rect perhaps?

Im using a mesa dual rect. with a gcx and a g major 2 going through loop 4
There are 2 knobs. send and return. If i turn send to 100%, what do i turn the return knob to? 100%? 0%? 20%?

On the Rectifier series (2 channel and 3 channel) there is a Send knob and a Mix knob on the rear panel. It is the Mix knob that will allow you to get as close to series as you are going to get with no internal modifications. Here are links to the manuals for the 2 and 3 channel Rectifiers. Good luck!
