GCX and line mixer

Hi John; Getting straight to the point, is there a method to getting a signal to flow through all GCX loops if the signal is sent to a line mixer (via the send off an individual loop) and not returned to that same loop. I'm discovering that when activated, the signal will flow through the send as expected (But) turning on an adjacent loop of the GCX (as in IA buttons) won't get both signals to appear at the line mixer. I can get detailed, but, is the answer to use Y cables to split the signal to the line mixer and also back to the return of the GCX loop thus continuing the signal flow onto the next loop and so on?
Hope you can follow this...

Usually the signal is split and fed to the IN of each loop when running a parallel setup.
How many devices are you going to be running in parallel?

John;
I currently just want two units running in parallel until I get a good grasp of the concept.
You mentioned that the signal will be present at the ins of each loop. I currently have the GCX set with short jumpers on all the outs to ins of all the loops whether there's an effect in those loops or not. Is this creating the break in signal flow that I'm experiencing? What I'm asking is, should I remove the jumper on the two loops that I want to use (in which I'm using the send only) to get the signal split onto the in of the next?

Sorry I wasn't being totally clear... What I'm saying is that for a parallel setup you would usually need to split the signal to feed the Ins of each GCX Loop.
So with two loops you could get away with using a Y Cable (all ends Mono) or you could run your Clean Source to the Guitar In on the front panel of the GCX, then use the rear panel Guitar Out and Feedthru to fee the ins of these two Loops. You will not use the jumpers between loops. In fact, you will only use the In and the Send jacks of each Loop used for driving parallel effects.
I hope that helps!

Hi John;
Thanks for guiding me through that. It works beautifully and I guess now that I can do that with any GCX loop and pedal switcher loops for parallel hookups. Just to be sure before buying anything.... is that the splitting Y cable has to be all 1/4' male TS only? A male stereo plug breaking into 2 TS males is NOT the same thing and won't work in this application, right? Only other possible solution would be using a patch bay with an intricate amount of wiring (that seems over the top). I'll stick with this solution, use as many as necessary, and see how things turn out.
Thanks, again John.

An Insert Point (or Stereo Breakout) Cable will not work for this application. The Y-Cable I mention in my previous post must have all ends Mono.
