Ground Control Pro - remote wah-wah and the rack Cry Baby

Hello, everyone here at the VL forums... just bought a second hand GCX and Ground Control Pro.
Thinking of using a remote wah-wah (with either the Pedal 1 or Pedal 2), I would like to use the rack Cry Baby version.
Is that possible?
An alternative is the Prostage Remote Wah-Wah, but I really would like to use the Dunlop Cry Baby.
Any other alternatives?
Thanks everyone!

The Cry Baby Rack Wah is not MIDI controllable. It's stage pedals connect directly to the back of the rack unit itself.
The Remote Wah-Wah, on the other hand, is MIDI controllable and can be controlled by the Ground Control Pro.
I hope this helps!

Could also use a midi multi fx that has wah? I'm planning on using a Line 6 M9 in this way.

Yes, the Ground Control Pro can also control the wah on an M9.
Good Luck in your quest for wah!

Thanks, John!
I was afraid you'd say that, but I kinda expected it.
Let the quest begin!
Regards.

I've never really understood why they have never modified the rack wah to incorporate MIDI.... My opinion is if it's in a rack it should be controllable via MIDI, and therefore the rack wah should be controllable with an expression pedal. It's their loss as i'm sure a lot more people would buy the rack wah if it was MIDI......

As a matter of interest.... If you're not too fussed about having the crybaby rack wah name... or indeed rack in your case.... There is an alternative that IS midi controllable, and programmable...
Have you seen this
