Routing Help

Post by glebreck »

With my GCX I have a GMajor2, BBE Sonic maximizer (rack), and a ISP Decimator Pedal(noisegate).

What order should they be in?
thanks!

That is entirely up to you, but I would run the G-Major last in the chain. It isn't a noise source, the time based effects won't get chopped by the gate, and there is no need to "sonically maximize" the effected signal in my opinion.

I'm saying run the G-Major 2 last in the chain, I doubt it matters what order the other two are in as long as they are before the processor. You don't need to gate the BBE and you can't really maximize a gate sonically.
