OK...... I need help. I am wanting to run a stereo rig. I have a Rivera duo and mesa express. I plan to run the first three loops into the front of the amps.. so far so good, I have that completed... Here's where it gets difficult. I would like to run 4-8 in stereo with the rights going to the Rivera FX loop and the left going to the mesa loop. I have a 4 channel mixer as well if this helpsb that way my modulation are stereo with the preamps still voiced. Any suggestions?

What are you using?... I'm assuming a GCX?
What effects are you intending to use... Any stereo effects, or all stomp boxes?
If stereo effects, are you intending to split the stereo effects left and right signals to the Rivera and mesa amps?
I think you need to give as much detail about your rig as possible, so we can help you as at the moment you have just amps and not effects in the chain.

Yes,. Sorry about that. I am using a gcx.
I want to use the first three loops to go in front of my amps. Then from the Rivera amps send of the FX loop into the right channels of the boss dd20, TC electronic chorus, boss dd5 and TC electronic hall of fame. And the mesa send to the left of all the above effects. This way I'm running stereo with the preamps still voiced. Any way it can be achieved?

If it was me, and after spending all that money on the various amps, effects and stuff, I'd spend the extra $120 and have loops 5 thru 8 converted to stereo.
It's make your life a lot easier and wouldn't use up all those loops just trying to split between amps. You can split the signal at the end of the chain to the two amps. You then still have the option of having a dry cabinet before stereo loops for the non-effected stuff from loops 1 thru 3

The stereo mod is carried out by voodoo lab, John Clark can help you... Or send an email to
info@voodoolab.com
Hooking it up is a breeze, as you only use 1 loop for each stereo effect. basically you would wire it like this (and this is very basic and I apologise if any of this isn't clear)
Loop 5 Send > Insert Cable > Stereo effect L & R > insert cable > Loop 5 Return > Loop5 Out > Stereo Patch Cable > Loop 6 In
You follow the above system, wiring up your effects for each loop , when you get to the last loop, for example loop 8 you plug in a stereo insert cable into the OUT of the loop, this breaks out into 2 mono jacks..... each jack has half the stereo signal, so you then feed one signal to one amp, and the other signal to the other amp... Et Viola...
And remember that the stereo moded GCX can also be used for normal mono effects.... It's not exclusively stereo, but you have that flexibility.
If any of this is incorrect people, please correct me

If you let them do the modification, they'll warranty the mod. If you do it, you're not covered
