so I was reading that if more than a few midi devices are to be connected together it is a good idea to use a midi thru box. So my question is do I need one in this scenario, and if so where in the midi chain should it be placed? pre or post my GCX units?
Midi devices to be controlled:
3 GCX units
Mesa Triaxis
Marshall JMP-1
ADA MP-1
Line 6 Echo Pro
TC Electronics G Major 2
So that is 8 mid devices and if I need a thru box I was thinking of getting a MIDI Solutions T8. That should do the trick, but out of my GCP should I run to all 3 GCXs and then into the T8, and then into each of the other devices or what? Please let me know if anyone has any ideas Thanks.
Several midi devices, several GCXs and a midi thru box?

GC Pro connected to GCX1, then you can connect to the T8 input midi input, and fan out to the other MIDI units from there.
