GCX | Groundcontrol Pro problems.

i'm Bert Van Hoeylandt from Belgium-Europe - and a new member here 
I recently bought second hand a GCX and Groundcontrol Pro great fantastic sounding unit
here my problem :
when i was programming in 4 presets/bank with instant acces everything worked fine.....loops and midi program changes to my Line 6 echo pro.
until I reached bank 8 - when i wanted to program bank 8 preset 1 - the GCX & grouncontrol went nuts.... the GCX didn't respond to the loops I switched on the Groundcontrol... midi program changes do work however (?).
and when I go back to anyother bank 7, or bank 5, or bank whatever the GCX doesn't react anymore....
the only way to get it back to working order if when I switch the GCX off..... when I turn it back on the unit works back perfectly.
again until I recall bank 8 then it's the same thing all over again...
do you have any idea what causes this problem, and how i can solve it.
another problem is : that i can't get my Boss FV 100 volume pedal working... i connect it in pedal 1 input on the Groundcontrol Pro
with the special insert point cable that you talk about in the owners manual. and i follow the instructions in the manual to program the Boss volume pedal but it is not working.
i use the pedal 1 input - do get value changes when I touch the volume pedal - and I assigned it to CTL 007 like you discribe in the owners manual..
how can I solve this problem ??
