It's not an even half rack space. Is there any way to securely fasten this device to some sort of rackmount adapter?

Shure makes a really narrow rack shelf that is perfect for stuff like this and the Voodoo Lab power supplies.

Mount this in the back of the rack and velcro the switcher to it.

Are the Control Switcher footswitch ports selectable between on/off and momentary operation?

Each Control Switcher switch can be set independently for Latching or Momentary action. The Momentary settings can further be set to pulse at On and again at Off or to pulse at the On only.

Sounds to me that Skwisgaar may have his hands on a control switcher...I didn't think they we're available yet? Someday...someday...hopefully it will be a Happy Control Switching New Year

I don't have one. But I have purchased things on ebay that didn't have the original footswitch and have discovered that not just any replacement will do.

I found a couple of better options for the rack shelf.
