Two amps and a GCX?

Hopefully I'm not asking something already discussed or covered in depth here but....

I have a Lonestar Classic and Heartbreaker (both combos). Would I be able to control channel switching and also amp selection with the GCX and GCP? I invision switching between amps for different tones but also want to be able to use both at once for certain stereo scenarios. Can the GCX and GCP do this or should I be looking at other switching options? I would also want to be able to use a H&K tube rotosphere and memory man in the effects loops.

I use a y cable (mono, not trs) out to switch....
