Ground Control Pro Issue

Post by Puck »

Hi All,
I recieved a Ground Control Pro as a Chrismas gift to use with my Eleven Rack.
Plugged it in and every LED and display segment is lit up (see attached pic).
Any clue what's going on with it?

Thanks in advance,

Puck

Same problem here with my new (to me) GCP. The unit seems to function perfectly (sends MIDI), but the LEDs are either on all the time or intermittently flicker.

Thanks for the reply Edge.
Makes setup a little more difficult doesn't it?

Update: whatever Gremlins were haunting my GCP appear to have moved on. Everything appears to be working fine now.

UPDATE #2:

Gremlins are back. The unit seems to alternate between all LCDs on and all LCDs off (except selected IA switches), about once every few days.

Tech support (or anyone else), please help! The unit is totally functional, but the absence of visual feedback via the LCDs makes things less than ideal.

In both of these cases make sure to test using the original power adapter. A standard Pedal Power output does not have enough current to power a Ground Control Pro.

Also, if these problem continue, please give us a call directly or send an email to info@voodoolab.com and we can get everything sorted out!

I hope that helps!

Thanks, John. I’m running with the original adapter.

I’ll send an email to follow up on the issue.

How are you powering your Ground Control Pro?

If using the original supplied power adapter, do you see the same problem with no other cables connected to the Ground Control Pro?
