Pedal Switcher Buffer Input Not Working

Post by danbrett »

Hi,

I've got a Pedal Switcher and I get no signal when I connect to the Buffered Input.
The unbuffered input works fine.
I have tried various guitar cables and wiggled things.
I have looked over the unit for extra controls and dip switches, but have not found anything.
Previously the Buffered Input worked (I checked it when I bought it) and now it doesn't.
The unit is receiving power as the LEDs light up and the loops switch.

Question?
Is the buffer broken or is there something "duh...." that I'm forgetting to do, like switch on the circuit or something?

If it is broken, which I suspect, is then is there anything I can do to investigate further, or fix it.

Thanks for your reply,
Dan

You may want to try cleaning the jack labeled INPUT. This is a normalling jack that is supposed to disconnect the buffer from the audio path when a cable is connected. It is possible that the normalling tabs are dirty and not re-connecting the buffer when no cable is connected to the INPUT jack.

If you continue to have troubles, please feel free to give us a call or write to info@voodoolab.com so we can arrange for a proper inspection and repair.
