controlling the Strymon Timeline via MIDI with Commander

Post by greenmachine »

Hi Everyone
I want to set up my Strymon Timeline after the output of my Pedal Swithcher.
Is it possible to bypass and do various patch changes via MIDI with Commander when the pedal is not in a loop of the Pedal Switcher?
I know it's possible to do this if I put it in a loop on the switcher by bypassing the loop, but I would like to use the stereo outs of the Timeline and access the Looper function without having to open a loop on the Pedal Switcher first.
For example, is it possible to bypass the Timeline via MIDI when the Commander is switched to any of positions 1-5 on Commander? And when I switch Commander to Pos 7-10, to access different banks of the Timeline?

Thanks in advance

You will be able to recall the first 10 TimeLine patches with the Commander. You won't necessarily be able to bypass the TimeLine but you can probably get away with creating "blank" patches on it for when you don't want any delay.

I hope that helps!

That might help John. I'll give it a try. Thanks
