Still no Axe FX tuner feed on GCP?

Post by traviel »

i guess the title says it all,
is there still no update for the gcp that allows this? and if not, is there still no plans for one? its becoming pretty standard in a bunch of competition products.

Sorry to have let this one get by me...

No, there currently is no provision to display the tuner output of any device on the Ground Control Pro display and there are no immediate plans to support this at the time. Unless I have been given bogus information, right now it seems that each device that does have this feature sends its tuner info out under a different protocol.

I won't say it won't happen someday ;)

Probably not what you wanted to hear, but I hope it helps anyway!

Thanks for the answer.
I think enabling the tuner of the AXE-FX, Eleven Rack and POD HD PRO (3 major players) on the GCP display will boost it very high with users "like", I sure would like to have this option and get rid of the tuner pedal I have in my pedal board next to the GCP
Looking forward.

I use the tuner in my G-Major, and although it would be nice to have the display at my feet, I can see the tuner display in my G-Major no problem, on bigger stages where my backline is 15-20 feet away i just move closer to the backline :).

Is the AxeFX's tuner display too small to see across stage?

YMMV.
