Where to hook up wah pedal with pedal switcher?

Post by sdeyoung »

Is it possible to use the insert input on the pedal switcher? At the moment I have my TU-2 Boss tuner and Dunlop Wah going straight into the input section of the switcher.

You can run whatever you want in the Insert... it will place it between loops 3 and 4. Although, the way you are running it now is likely the best choice unless you want the wah to be routed after effects that are in loops on the Pedal Switcher.

Alright, I leave it where it is now. Makes sense what you said. So far I'm digging the setup, pedal switcher, control switcher and commander.. Never knew life could be this easy with this setup : )

Got a question about the pedal switcher though. Not sure if it's a defect or not but where the midi in and out cables plug in, the connectors seem to rock back and forth when plugging the cables in. Should I maybe have this one replaced?

The MIDI jacks are mounted in such a way that there will be some movement when plugging in, this is normal for the Pedal Switcher.
