Just purchased a zoom G3 and pedal power 2 plus

I just want to verify before i place the order, the only way to power the zoom g3 off the pedal power 2 plus is with a current doubling cable correct?

To power your Zoom G2 use a current doubler adapter (part# PPAP) in Pedal Power 2 Plus outputs 5 and 6, DIP switches set NORMAL with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

So yes, you are correct :D

As an added question..

I also have a Zoom G3 (need to buy a current doubler... oops I was using a voltage doubler, hope I didn't do damage to anything after hour or so of use!)... I assume it needs 5 & 6 to get the 500mA of juice.

I'd like to also power my Whammy 5 pedal with the PP2+. From what I understand it needs about 280mA 9v. Is this possible with the 5/6 outputs taken? Can I use 3 of the 100mA slots with a custom current tripler cable?

I only need to power a Suhr Riot (100mA) and maybe my compressor after that, so running out of outputs isn't an issue.

The voltage doubler cable with your G3 may have damaged the pedal, maybe make sure it still works by using the supplied power adapter if you have it.

The Whammy 5 probably needs a current doubler cable, either 4+5 or 6+7. So thats out of bounds because the G3 needs max current from 5 +6. You might want to use either the G3 or the Whammy with its supplied adapter on the courtesy outlet of your PP2+, the other on 5 and/or 6, then you have plenty of room for other stuff. Or, you could get a PP 4x4 or something. Hope that helps.
