Sorry for the amateur question! I just ordered a VL PP2+ to power my board (in Australia, 240v version).
I plan to use it to power:
Korg DT-10 pedal tuner
Boss OC-2 octave
Boss OC-3 octave
Marshall Guv'Nor Plus distortion
Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi (NYC original version)
Boss DD-3 digital delay
Boss NS-2 noise suppressor
Boss DS-2 turbo distortion
and possibly a Line 6 MM4 Modulation Modeler... (if I end up wanting to use it again)
I also have a Digitech Whammy but I read somewhere that you have to use the courtesy output on the PP2+ to power them as they are AC... so I might can my whammy, or just use it's adapter.
Cheers!
Pedal Power 2 Plus - how should I set this up?
Re: Pedal Power 2 Plus - how should I set this up?
You need something like this to plug into the AC outlet for the Whammy.

Otherwise everything else is standard 9V, except for the MM4, which uses the L6 outputs, dip switch away from normal and uses a positive (red) cable.

On the Line 6 it says it needs at least 1200 mA to work... I read in the PP2+ manual that most effects pedals power requirements are significantly less than they advertise, but would the MM4 be less enough to work with the 250 mA or however much it is on the L6 output?
Re: Pedal Power 2 Plus - how should I set this up?
Yes, those outputs were designed for the Line 6 modellers - DL4, FM4, MM4, DM4, AM4.
I used to run the DL4 and FM4 from these outputs myself.

Re: Pedal Power 2 Plus - how should I set this up?
What is the advantage of powering the Whammy pedal via the courtesy outlet over simply plugging in the adapter to another power point?
Re: Pedal Power 2 Plus - how should I set this up?
Well if you have all the pedals mounted to something like a pedaltrain board, you have one less wall wart to plug in.
