Ground Control Pro Plastic Cover

Post by icetrey »

Hey, I just recently bought the Ground Control Pro & Audio Switcher. I've seen pictures of other peoples rigs and some have a clear plastic cover on their GCP. I'd like to know hat are they using for this? Thanks

Here's a link of an example

My GCP came with this foil attached to it.
I removed it.

I've never seen anything like what's pictured in that video, but I bought my GCPro used so I don't know if new ones come with protective plastic on them or not.

That looks to be a sheet of clear static cling plastic, or maybe even some clear laminate, but I'd avoid using the latter as I think it would be very difficult to remove. Not sure where you could find that static cling stuff, but I think an office supply store like Staples or Office Depot might be a good place to start.
For Sale: Original DMC GCX in Excellent Condition ($275) and a far more versatile SoundSculpture GL also in Excellent Condition ($1750). Free CONUS Shipping.
