Ground Control Pro acting weird

Post by Guitar Planet »

Hi I have a GCP and occasionally it starts acting weird. The letters on the screen start going all funny and the loops aren't lighting up when I engage. sometimes they will on the GCP and then sometimes loop 1 on the GCX doesn't work. I have to keep reseting which is a pain and this time it hasn't fixed it.

Check your MIDI cable and the connections. The Ground Control Pro MIDI Out is a 7 Pin jack and it is possible to force a 5 Pin connector into this jack.

Another test would be to power the Ground Control Pro with no MIDI cables connected using the supplied adapter to find if there is a problem with the Ground Control Pro itself.

Let us know what you find.
