Wondering if/how the PP2+ can power this wireless unit. I currently run it off the stock Sony 12v power supply, although it does have a separate 9v input as well. I've read that some users have issues running it off 9v, especially for high gain applications. I'd rather not test that theory in a live situation!
Thanks!

If the receiver unit with this system is the ZRX-C30, you can power using Output 5 or 6 for 9V operation with the corresponding DIP switch set to Normal.
Edit: For 12V operation use any output from 1-4 with the corresponding DIP switch set away from Normal.
I hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply, John! Here more info that I found:
"Consumption current:
During 12v DC input: 90 mA
During 9v DC input: 120 mA"
Would positions 5 or 6 away from normal be too much? So, given the choices, which would better -- and safely -- power it? And yes, you are correct -- it's the ZRX-C30.

I just checked to be sure and without getting a chance to test one myself with the included power supply, I change my mind on using the L6 setting. I edited my above post to reflect this.
You actually should be able to power the receiver using any one of output 1-4 with the DIP switch set away from Normal for 12V operation.
I'm not sure what way would be "better" 9 vs 12. 12 probably offers more headroom, but I am totally guessing. Try either way and see what works for you. Neither setting will cause any harm.

Thanks so much, John, I really appreciate the great support! That's why I now own TWO PP2+'s.

Re: PP2+ and Sony DWZ-B30GB Digital Guitar Wireless
As a follow-up to this thread...the 12v jack on the Sony wireless receiver is proprietary, and the standard barrel plug does not fit. Looks like I'll be plugging it into the courtesy outlet. Oh well, I guess that's precisely why it's there!
Re: PP2+ and Sony DWZ-B30GB Digital Guitar Wireless
I just bought an extra power supply for my Sony dwz-B30GB 12v wireless guitar receiver. I hope to canabalize it and make a custom cable to plug into my 2+. I will make sure the cable reverses polarity since the 12V cable is positive center.
Re: PP2+ and Sony DWZ-B30GB Digital Guitar Wireless
Sure... give it a try. A 12V output might suffice but it may be best to power it from the Pedal Power 2 Plus AC courtesy outlet with its adapter/wall-wart.
Cheers!
