How to find and update to latest firmware for GCP

Hi, guys! I just acquired a used Ground Control Pro, and I see its firmware isn't the latest version.

1) Where can I find the latest firmware file?

2) How do I update the firmware in the GCP?

You can see what firmware is in any Ground Control Pro by letting the display scroll through when first powering it up. The version currently shipping is v1.13.
(Very early units running v1.00 or 1.01 should come back to us for some other changes including changing out all the switches.)

Sorry, the update is not downloadable. The update is in the form of a physical chip that replaces the one currently in your Ground Control Pro.

By the way, is there a certain function you want from an update?

Thanks, John. I always update devices to the latest firmware version, so it's just out of habit.

Any idea what the differences are between version 1.02 and the newest?

Changes would mainly be that we added the following...

-MIDI Messages on the MIDI In are mirrored to the MIDI Out. (this excludes MIDI Clock)
-New Link Modes were added for using two Ground Control Pro units together. This is mainly used to have two different stage positions or two different people controlling the same rig.
-New Special Setups were added for Cyber Twin and G-Force. (Sort-of dates the last major update, huh )

I think that was most of it. Not really a significant user experience change from v1.02.

No, the Ground Control Pro will only accept a Latching switch on the expression port (or and expression pedal, of course ).

Is this a kind of feature request?
If so, what about:

• 12 IA Mode with Bank up and Bank down switching Presets
• More than one CC per IA
• Expression Pedal Signal to more than one Destination at a time
• Display NOT showing Preset Number to free up Display Space for Names
• A special IA-Button-Mode for Tap Tempo (sending midi Clock or CCs to more than one Destination) with its LED flashing in Sync
