Hi,
I'm looking to buy a Pedal Power Mondo and had some questions in regards to how it would handle my setup.
My pedalboard is as follows in no particular order:
Digitech Whammy 5
Pigtronix Mothership
Pigtronix Philosopher King
Moog Clusterflux
Moog MF-Drive
Moog MF-Boost
TC Electronics Polytune
Line 6 M5
Electro-Harmonix Superego
Molten Voltage Tempode
Molten Voltage CV-Sync
Molten Voltage Splitty
The eight pedals below the Clusterflux, I believe that I should be able to use the "1-8" power supplies without a problem. It is the other 4 pedals that I am curious about.
I believe that since the Whammy is 1300mA, that I will need to use the courtesy outlet, is this correct?
The Pigtronix Mothership is one of the newer models that uses a 18V, 300mA power supply. Could I combine the first two high current outputs for this? If so, do I need to change any dip switches or anything? Also, can you let me know specifically which cable that I would need to buy for this to make it work?
The Philosopher King is the exact same power supply as the Mothership, so I basically have the exact same questions for this one except that I'm assuming that I could combine the 3rd and 4th hight current outputs here.
The Clusterflux uses a 9V, 400mA power supply, so I assume that I can use the 5th high voltage supply for this. I seem to remember that the Moogerfooger pedals use a different type of cable though. Can you point me to where I could buy this as well?
Thanks SOOOOO much!!!
Pedal Power Mondo Questions
Re: Pedal Power Mondo Questions
Just realized that the M5 will need a high power output too. My bad
Re: Pedal Power Mondo Questions
Hi thom, I'm new in this forum and I've checked you have almost the same pedals as me and also want to buy the Mondo.thom wrote:...I'm looking to buy a Pedal Power Mondo and had some questions in regards to how it would handle my setup.
I'm worry about 3 moogerfoogers (Ring Modulator, Analog Delay, FreqBox), BlueSky and a Boss ES8, because I bought a custom power supply but I get hum or other noises, I think it's because of the moogs and its high current consumption.
I want to know how did the Mondo go for you?
My pedalboard setup:
Boss - ES8
Boss - Metal Core
Digitech - Whammy 4
Moog - FreqBox
Moog - Ring Modulator
Moog - Analog Delay
Electro Harmonix - Russian Big Muff Pi
Dunlop - Cry Baby Bass
MXR - M87 Bass Compressor
TC Electronic - Ditto Looper
TC Electronic - Polytune
Strymon - BlueSky
ZVex - Fuzz Probe
Thanks in advance!
