Sparkle Drive Mod not 100% overdrive...

I've had my Sparkle Drive for about a year now and never use it because it seems to always have clean signal in it even when the clean knob is all the way off.. Anyone else experience this? Was mine from a bad batch? I have found other people on the internet saying the same thing. Any help here would be great

Not too sure we have ever actually seen a pedal come in here where someone has claimed this to be happening. The certainly was never a "bad batch" where this occurred.

What are you running in front of the Sparkle Drive?
Do you get the same behavior if you connect your guitar directly to the pedal and the pedal directly to the amp?
How are you powering the Sparkle Drive?
