Is it possible to have a Tap Tempo to control the G-Major 2 direct from the Ground Control Pro in Preset mode or will i need an external pedal?
Thanks
Ground Control Pro G-Major 2 Tap Tempo
Re: Ground Control Pro G-Major 2 Tap Tempo
If you use 4 Presets per Bank on the Ground Control Pro then you can set one of the Instant Access buttons to do the Tap Tempo. If you use 10 Presets per Bank on the Ground Control Pro then you would need an external switch to control the Tap Tempo.

Re: Ground Control Pro G-Major 2 Tap Tempo
It has to be latching. A momentary switch will make the G-Major (1 or 2) count the the press as a tap and the release as another tap.
The Ground Control Pro requires a TRS connection for the expression pedal ports so the Boss pedal will not work for this application.

Re: Ground Control Pro G-Major 2 Tap Tempo
What you have is an Insert Cable. What you need is a Stereo Cable... a single cable with a single TRS connector on each end.

Re: Ground Control Pro G-Major 2 Tap Tempo
Hi again this is beating me at every level!
I now have a Stereo TRS plugged into pedal 2 (mission TT latching) on the GCP
and on pedal 1 i have my ernie ball volume connected
both are enabled on the GCP and both show up when moved (the 0-127 # change!)
But when i edit a preset and enable the expression pedals on the G-Major 2 i cant get tap tempo working properly with Pedal 2 (mission TT latching) even with pedal 1 off and pedal 2 on the ernie ball pedal still works and seems to over ride pedal 2
I want to be-able to use tap tempo for tremolo/Univibe delay etc speeds with pedal 2 (mission TT latching)
And control whammy, depths, effect on/off's etc etc … with pedal 1
Can this be done ?
Can they be used at the same time?
What am i doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for any insight
