Left Wet/Center Dry/Right Wet Guitar Rig

Post by stephensbakery »

I spoke to Bob Bradshaw on how to do this set-up and it worked out great with A Marshall-Plexi-Style Head going out to 2 Stereo 4X12's. The two Speaker outputs ran to the center four speakers for the "DRY" sound & the Left-Wet/Dry-Wet Signals were sent out of a THD HOTPLATE mono into a t.c. G-Force-stereo out of that to a solid-state power amp for the two "outer" pairs of speakers in each 4X12. sounded like GOD or Electric Ladyland I cant decide!

I am planning on doing this with 3 separate 12 inch speakers for the ultimate small club rig. It would be line-out of a 12-inch combo amp to a G-Force-power amp-2 separate single 12 cabs. my question is ....... With the Voodoo Labs GCX & Ground Control after I rack mount the floor effects & rackmount the G-force, is it possible to route the audio signal of my stompboxes into the front of the amp and still control the MIDI of my G-Force pushing the 2 Stereo 1x12's??????

Thanks in Advance for any Input,
Stephen Douglas 8-)

A Ground Control Pro preset can control up to 8 MIDI devices and up to 4 GCX switchers at once... controlling a single processor and a single GCX will be no problem. You can even use a GCX loop to mute the send to the G-Force if you wanted a dry only sound. Good luck!
