The memory dump doesn't look to have worked correctly.

If you didn't already, can you try it with the Ground Control Pro MIDI Out connected directly to your MIDI interface?

ok,

It's strange, I am always doing that way when I reorganize my presets with the "ground control pro editor " on the web.
And I try it with the one I send to you and it's working perfectly.
I may have to compress it as a ZIP to be able to send it correctly by mail.

Anyway,I 'll send a new one to you today, one non-compressed and one compressed.

thanks

ps: one think is strange in the "ground control pro editor" with the Tempode. On every presets, I didn't put any program number (--), on the Editor it's says that I put program number 1. I don't know if it should be that way ?

What version firmware is your Ground Control Pro running? This shows on the screen when you first power up the Ground Control Pro.

I must have had an issue with my computer at home, today here at the Lab I was able to get the first file you sent to work. :D

The first thing I see that could be an issue is that you have the Link Mode turned on. If you are using only the one Ground Control Pro in this setup then try again with the Link Mode set to None.
This is found in Setup Mode, under MIDI.

Also, what did you use to capture the memory dump from your Ground Control Pro in the first place?

YOU ARE THE MAN, John.

It's working as it should, I 'll be more secure with the tempo think for my concert of tomorrow .

Does the link mode won't change anything else in my set -up ?

Thank you so much for your time.

I did use the same for everything I send to you.

SysEx Librarian

But I 've seen that the first one I send to you, it didn't have the " .syx " at the end of the name. Maybe the problem comes from that.

So it's all working now after setting Link to None?

The Link modes should only ever be activated if you are using more than one Ground Control pro in the same rig. I assume you are only using the one Ground Control Pro, right?

Having this turned on without a second Ground Control Pro meant that a SysEX message intended for a second Ground Control Pro was going thru all the gear. Now a SysEX message has a unique manufacturer ID code at the beginning, so nothing else should be responding to it, but sometimes things get "funny" about processing these messages and either respond to part of the message due to a sort of timing error, or an upstream device re-arranges part of the message and the data gets changed.

Anyway, turn it off and keep it off if you are running only a single Ground Control Pro and all should work as expected. ;)

That was a fun one! Good Luck this weekend!!
