Pedal Power for RJM Effect Gizmo & EHX Magnum 44?

Post by luca9583 »

Hi

Is there a Pedal Power box that can power both the RJM Effect Gizmo (9 volt AC or 12 volt DC) and the EHX Magnum 44 (24 volt DC!!!)?

I'm guessing the Magnum 44 needs too much power.

If not, is there a Pedal Power box i could use to power the Effect Gizmo, an ISP Decimator Pro Rack G and an RJM Mini Line mixer? Perhaps just the Pedal Power AC for the Gizmo and Decimator?

The Magnum 44 does draw a rather large amount of current, so it will continue to use its included power supply.

I think the best bet would be as you mention, a Pedal Power AC for the Effect Gizmo and Decimator Pro Rack G. This may also have you covered if you are using the Effect Gizmo to provide phantom power to a MIDI Controller with a reasonable current draw.

If you will be using phantom power... what MIDI Controller will you be using?

The Mini Line Mixer can be powered from any of our other model Pedal Power units... will there be a load of pedals in the switcher that will also need power?

Thanks John. It's just a rack with the following pieces:

Effect Gizmo
Mini Line Mixer
Decimator Pro Rack G
Digitech Quad 4 v1 (din power plug)
Drawmer noise gate (kettle power)

That is a lot of noise gating!

Will you be using the Effect Gizmo to provide power to a foot controller?

I'm using a Mastermind GT and Switchblade 8F and a bunch of stompboxes all powered by a Pedal Power 4x4.

The rack also has an Axe FX with it's own kettle supply so really i just want to try and power most of the rack from one bix only to eliminate noisy warts
