Expression jacks on GCP

Post by johnnyg88 »

Hey guys...

Is it possible to use a Tap Tempo switch in an Expression Jack on the GCP? All my IA's are taken up and I want to control tempo of my GForce.

Thanks!

Yes this has been done before, here on this forum even. The current Ground Control Pro (with v1 software) will accept a latching switch only and will only perform latching type operations (most tempo via MIDI is latching). We can provide a schematic for this switch, we can make one for you in a small MXR sized box for $50, or you can purchase the Mission TT Latching pedal from Mission Engineering http://www.mission-engineering.com/Miss ... cts_2.html.

Ground Control Pro v2 software will allow some flexibility with the pedals used as well as mimic latching or momentary operations. there is no offical release for the new software just yet.
