I have three GCX units that I want to power with the PP A/C... is this possible and does it come with the appropriate cables to do so (including being able to power my GCP with the phantom power from GCX #1)
Please let me know. Thanks a million

GCX and the PP A/C?

Re: GCX and the PP A/C?
The Pedal Power AC can power up to four GCX switchers. GCX #1 should be powered from one of the two high current outputs in order to have enough to phantom power a Ground Control Pro. These cables do not come with the Pedal Power AC but we can make them for you in custom lengths up to 36". Give us a call or send an email to info@voodoolab.com to order the cables needed.

Hey thanks for letting me know. I am stoked. about the cables though, I am not 100% sure what length I'll need so can I buy them without the barrel ends attached so I can cut them to the appropriate length and just make the connections myself?
Please let me know. Thanks.
Dan

Give us a call or send an email to info@voodoolab.com. We can sell you just the cable (http://www.voodoolab.com/cables.htm PA36 at the bottom of the page) and the 4 Pin DIN connector for you to install yourself.

Hey John,
Got all the cables and connectors in the mail today. I just wanted to make sure I solder the wires to the right terminals. Can you verify which terminals are positive and which are negative an the DIN connector. Thanks a lot.

This is AC so they are both positive and negative unless you can stop time.
If you are looking into the end of the 4 Pin DIN connector with the keyway at the top, the two pins on the left are one side of the AC and the two pins on the right are the other side of the AC. Good luck!

John,
Thanks a lot. I remembered that it wouldn't be a positive and negative after I posted, but figured you would know what I meant. Thanks for the reply though. Everything is coming together nicely and I'll be sure to post the pics when I am done. Thanks again. This place rules.

Re: GCX and the PP A/C?
Hey John,
one last question, Do I need to use all four pins since the two on the left are for one conductor and the two on the right are for the other? Or does the input need the pins paralleled like that? please let me know. Thanks again

You know, we could have just made this for you and you would already be rocking
We use all the pins because they are there and there is no reason not to, but I suppose you can get away with only wiring one pin per side.
