Output Splitter Adapter - Ground lifted side not powering up

Post by Tom F »

I purchased this product to split 2 Boss or 1 Boss, 1 MXR pedal(s) that are not used stacked. The ground lifted connection does not power the pedal. Help. I am using a Pedal power 2 and adjacent pedals are Boss CH1 and, thinking about it, a MXR Phase 90

The two pedals on the Output Splitter have to be in the same signal path, preferably one right next to the other. The one on the "lifted" side gets its ground reference thru the audio connection between the pedals.

Also, both of these pedals will need a cable connected to their Input jacks before they will even turn on. This is a battery saving feature on many guitar pedals. So be sure you are testing with a complete signal path connected, or at least Guitar -> Pedal 1 -> Pedal 2 -> Amp.

Let us know if you are still having trouble!
