Are the 2 feed through inputs / outputs linked?
I am setting up my second GCX which has 2 separate pedal setups in it (feeding 2 amps).
I am taking 2 outputs from the first GCX.
Should I take 1 feed directly into a loop input and the second through the feed thru section?
I hope that makes sense.

GCX Feed Thru.....
Re: GCX Feed Thru.....
Nobody...?
Maybe the question wasn't asked so eloquently?
If I plug into the input 1 on the front panel will I get signal on both outputs on the back?

Re: GCX Feed Thru.....
If you're meaning on both units, yes.
Re: GCX Feed Thru.....
If your GCX is labeled Feedthru 1 and 2 on the front panel, then both front panel inputs are buffered. Connecting only to Feedthru 1 on the front panel will split the signal to both rear panel outputs.

John / Everyone else.
Thank you for the responses, even if they don't tell me what I wanted to hear. I was hoping that Feed Thru 1+2 were independent of each other.

Re: GCX Feed Thru.....
But Feedthru 1 and Feedthru 2 are independent of each other. If you connect to both front panel jacks, each signal will be buffered independently and be present only at the rear panel jack of the same number.

John, thanks for taking the time to reply.Connecting only to Feedthru 1 on the front panel will split the signal to both rear panel outputs.
Have I missed something..? You seem to be contradicting yourself........or have I missed something.
I have no way of testing this for myself as I don't have 2 amps at home.
many thanks,

Re: GCX Feed Thru.....
If you had reversed the order of the two quotes perhaps it would have jumped out at you. Here is how I should have put it from the beginning for clarity...
Connecting only to the front panel Feedthru 1 will split the output to both rear panel jacks. Connecting to the front panel Feedthru 2 will break this normaling resulting in two discretely buffered Feedthrus.
The same normaling condition is true of the GCX units with the front panel jacks labeled Guitar In and Feedthru with the only difference being that on these units only the Guitar In is buffered.
