PPL6-R?

Hello,

I'm looking to power a Line 6 HX Stomp using a current doubling adaptor. Is the PPL6-R cable the right one to use with the current doubler to go from the 2.1mm connector to the 2.5mm connector that the pedal needs, or do I need to get a custom cable made?

No. For risk of damage, the PPL6 should not be used (with the Current Doubler Adapter, part# PPAP)... it's the wrong polarity.

Typically, to power your HX Stomp (or HX Effects) use two 9VDC high current capacity (400mA) outputs and a custom cable (current doubler with 2.5mm output barrel, standard polarity).
