sony dwz-B30GB 12v wireless guitar power requirement

I have a Sony dwz-B30GB 12v wireless guitar receiver that can use 9V pedalboard power but is reported to work better using the power supply which says 12V, 1.5 Amp. Is there a way to use my Voodoo Labs 2+ 12V output with a custom made cable with Positive center or will it draw too much power/not receive enough power?

A 12V output might suffice but likely it's best would be to power it from the Pedal Power 2 Plus AC courtesy outlet with its adapter/wall-wart
