Ground Control Pro with Fractal Axe Fx II

Dear friends,

I have been a musician for 40 years and I am new to the world of MIDI and amp modelling, however I am currently fascinated by them. I recently purchased a Fractal Axe Fx II and a Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro and I am trying to configure both devices to properly work together.
I did some homework and I've followed some instructions so my units are set up as follows:

GCP:
- 4 presets/bank
- Device Name/Channel = Axe-Fx / channel set to 01
- Starts at 00
- MIDI Channel – 01

AxeFX II MIDI channel:
- I/O button / MIDI tab / MIDI Channel “1” and Display off set “1” as well.
- Instant Access Buttons are all edited with the effects assigned to them (Delay - button 1, Reverb- button 2, Chorus- button 3, Phaser- button 4, Pitch Shifter- button 5, Compressor- button 6, Tuner- button 7 and Over Drive- button 8).
- IA switch is set to act as XMIT W/PRSET

The problem I am having is that when I change presets, the Instant Access Buttons are not lighting up according to the preset. For instance, if the preset has and active Delay, I believe the GCP should have the Delay red light on but all the Instant Access Buttons' lights are off. The effects are active though and if I press the respective button, it will turn the effect off. When I press it again, it turns the effect on and also lights up the red led.
I have also noticed that when I am using the Axe Editor on my computer and I change the presets using the GCP, it does not turn the effects on and off on the screen and if I change the presets via the editor, it does not light up the effects red leds on the GCP. So it seems that there is a lack of communication between the GCP, the Axe Fx II and the Axe Editor, even though I followed all the instructions to set up both devices correctly. Maybe I've missed something or did something wrong.

Is that a MIDI configuration that I am doing incorrectly?
Could you help me to figure out what's happening and set the units to work properly, please?

Sorry for the delayed reply!

Your Ground control Pro is working properly... you just need to program the proper state of the Instant Access LEDs for each preset.

Here is how:
1. Call up the Ground Control Pro preset you want to edit.
2. Press any of the Instant Access buttons that should be active for this preset.
3. Press and hold the Edit button then release it once the screen changes.
4. Press the Edit button then the Yes button to save the state of the Instant Access LEDs with the preset.
