I would like to split the signal to feed left and right sides of my power amp.
Here's what I have - A Mesa Boogie TriAxis and Quad pre amp, a delay and reverb in the loop. I would send a signal from my chorus pedal's left and right out from my fx board to my two preamps inputs. From there I would use loop1 to switch preamps. Out of loop 1, I would go to loop 2 and use that as an effects loop. Loop 3 would be set up as a mute coming out to? Front of GCX guitar in and then feed thru and guitar out to L & R power amp in? Or, feed thru on back of GCX to guitar out with a split cable to power amp L & R in?
Also, I will use the GCX to change channels on the Quad Pre amp using the "midi" 1/4" jacks. Should they be latching or momentary? I would like it if I could switch channels and have the other channel turn off. The way I use the Quad now, I have to turn a channel off or two channels will be on at the same time, a pita.
signal splitting & Boogie Quad ?
