Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus' Output Current?

Post by Gary Browne »

What is the Output Current in mA for your Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus?

I ask this because my new "Vox Mystic Edge" pedal owner’s manual states the required following power specs;
Current consumption: 95 mA (DC 9V)
Power supply: AC adapter 600 mA or greater

But my "Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus" owner’s manual doesn't have any information about the unit's "Output Current.

Is there a number available?
I don’t want to damage by brand new pedal using the wrong power requirements.

Thank you for your time.

To power the Vox Mystic Edge with Pedal Power 2 Plus, use any output, DIP switch in the 9V (normal) setting with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

The current a output delivers will vary depending on the load (pedal) being powered.

When the correct voltage (V) and polarity are used, the load (pedal) will naturally (by physics), draw only as much current (mA) as it requires.

Pedal Power 2 Plus outputs 1,2,3,4,7,8 have a maximum current capacity of100mA each and outputs 5 and 6 have a maximum current capacity of 250mA each.

Cheers!
