Running two amps with pedal switcher?

Post by StevieD »

Hey everyone, I have two pedal switchers and a commander. I’m wondering if it’s possible to run two amps at the same time with this setup? I know that I can switch between the two using the output of the pedal switcher and a send from one of the loops but I’d like to run them at the same time. Is this possible or would I need an ABY pedal to accomplish this? I do have a Line 6 M5 as well.

Hi there,
An ABY or a y cable would do this after the last loop. But only with an ABY would you be able to use either amp by itself.

You can use the Line 6 M5 after the last loop as your splitter. Same deal though, you won’t be able to use either amp by itself.
GCPro, GCX, Pedal Power 2+, Pedal Power AC.
And some other stuff.
