Is this possible with the HEX or any other Voodoo Lab switcher?

I'm trying to simulate a parallel switcher and thought it might work with the HEX even though it was designed as a series switcher but I can't get it to work. I'm assuming it's not possible and I knew this going into this but I thought it was worth a try. Here's a diagram of what I want to do (it's simplified but this is the basic idea):



The EHX 9 Series pedals require the unprocessed guitar signal as the input to work properly. They cannot be in series unless I only use one at a time (not an option). My idea was that the guitar signal would be split three ways sending one to each EHX pedal input. The output of each pedal would then be routed to individual returns on the loop switcher. This would allow me to turn on one, two or all three pedals. In this scenario I wouldn't be using the loop switcher sends or main input since I just want to sum the returns and send that to the amp via the loop switcher's main output.

At best I think the only way I can make this work for two pedals using loop 1 and loop 2 (loop 1 is isolated from 2-6). Is there another way to do this that I'm not seeing? Perhaps a different product?

Once again, I bought the HEX knowing it was not designed for this but I thought I might be able to figure it out.

Hi there,

No it can’t, you need a splitter and a mixer. Some thing like a Radial Shotgun to split then something like the Radial Key-Largo to mix it back together, you can use the Hex to switch whichever pedals that you want to use on or off.
