Soldering bare ended cable

Post by Chad 26 »

I need a longer lead for one effect off my board. So I bought a VL bare ended lead. I cut off and stripped the old short lead . I have a white cable and a bare ground to connect from each cable. I have solder and heat shrink tubes. So I am assuming the white and the bare get soldered seperately. Just checking . Thanks

Yes, they cannot connect or they will short circuit the power supply
GCPro, GCX, Pedal Power 2+, Pedal Power AC.
And some other stuff.

You need to make sure you have the correct polarity for the pedal you are using, some won’t work, others will be damaged. Best to twist together and test with a multimeter.
