Ground Control Pro Editor (Mac)

Post by ryanpenny_1 »

Does anyone know of a Mac based Editor for the Ground Control Pro.

I have recently converted to a rack based rig using the Ground Control Pro, RJM Effects Gizmo, Various stompboxes and Timefactor.
Now i have Programmed the rig. But regularly Change my Set between gigs and when adding new material.

Does anyone have any ideas as to the easiest way to change your settup, I have found a PC editor for the sysex messages at www.sense-electronics.nl. But it would be much easier if someone knew of a Mac editor????

Thanks Ryan

Hello:

I'm in the same boat as you, being a Mac user. I sent an inquiry to sense-electronics to see if their PC editor will work on a Mac usinbg Boot Camp. I'll let you know what they say.

I use the sense-electronic one on my Mac and it works fine using parallels.

+ 100000 for Mac.

It's unbelievable that there's no midi/sysex editor for GCP. Half of the biggest bands in the world use it live for ***** sake. (Metallica, Linkin Park, In Flames, Nickelback just to name a first few that comes to my mind)

I've asked EVERYONE I met using GCP if they know solution for this but nobody seems to know anything.

I just would like to load GCP presets to mac, edit their order according tonites set list and dump it back in. Maybe name presets also, everything else is easy to do with GCP by itself.

How hard is that to do?

PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE do something Voodoo Lab!

As much as you mac peeps want an editor, so do us PC guys! I need an (official)editor so I can switch between my analog set up and axefx set up. Yes MidiOX works, but it is cumbersome and way more than I need or know. This isnt my first plea for a legit editor.

Any news anyone? Is there even one for PC? This sort of thing cannot be too overhelming to write and it would be a great help for people who actually TOUR with GCP. Come on Voodoo Lab!!!

I can empathize with you Mac guys, but to the best of my knowledge there is no GCPro editor available for either Mac or PC.

Unfortunately, it's not the only ball Voodoo Lab seems to have dropped.
For Sale: Original DMC GCX in Excellent Condition ($275) and a far more versatile SoundSculpture GL also in Excellent Condition ($1750). Free CONUS Shipping.

I'm bumping this thread because I've used a GCP for years and recently upgraded to an Axe Fx II and would love for my Ground Control Pro to sync with my Axe Fx II.

C'mon Voodoo Labs!!! Please don't make me buy the MFC monstrosity.
