Powering HX Stomp with Outputs 5 and 6 of Pedal Power 2

Post by EEdpud »

As the post says Im trying to power the Line 6 HX Stomp with the pedal power 2. I'm using the Voodoo lab cable adapter that combines outputs 5 and 6 with the red 2.5mm cable included and Im getting nothing.

Both outputs are switched away from normal. Any advice on getting it running.

Due to its high current requirement (at least 800m) with Pedal Power 2 Plus, the only option is to power HX Stomp (or HX Effects) from the AC courtesy outlet with its adapter/wall-wart (the DC outputs will not suffice regardless of any special cable).

Note, it is possible HX Stomp (or HX Effects) with one of these higher current capacity supplies: Pedal Power 4 x 4, Pedal Power 3, Pedal Power Mondo or Pedal Power 3 Plus, setup as follows: To power your HX Stomp (or HX Effects) use two 9VDC high current capacity (400mA or 500mA) outputs and a HX Current Doubler Cable
