Switch problems...

Post by yaniv297 »

I had the Analog Chorus and the Sparkle Drive for quite some time now and I love them both. However lately I've been experiencing problems with the switch in both... sometimes I turn it on and it cuts the signal, which is really annoying.

I understand this is a known problem and that the guys at Voodoo Labs fixed it for free for other people. However I live in Israel which means that sending it all the way to the USA just to fix a switch will be a bit of a problem. To make things worse, I bought these pedals in the states before Voodoo Labs had a dealer in Israel. I'll contact the Israeli dealers anyway but since it's not their product I don't expect them to do much about it.

So basically, what's the easiest, cheapest way to fix the problem? I have access to a man with electronic knowledge, but not in effect pedals (he still claims he pretty much understands how pedals work though). What should I do?
