System Mix and 2 Amps

Post by Ted82 »

How would I connect a Triaxis pre-amp and a Marshall JCM2000 into my System Mix and then out to a 2:90 Power Amp? I'll be putting a Hot Plate/set to LOAD on the JCM2000, instead of speakers. Would I go Triaxis Output into Mix 1 in 1 and JCM2000 Send into Mix 2 in 1??????

You will want to run the Output of the Triaxis to the Mix 1 In 1 on the System Mix, and run the Line Out from the Hot Plate to Mix 1 In 2 on the System Mix. Good Luck!

Thanks John! So, if I was to add a 2290 in parallel into the mix, how would I go about doing that?

In this case you can probably feed the Input of the 2290 from the System Mix Passive Split as long as the source signal coming to Mix 1 In 1 is always active when you want delay, otherwise you can feed the Input of the 2290 from Mix 1 Out. Using Mix 1 Out will make the Mix 1 knob affect the input level to the 2290 as well as the dry output level. The Output of the 2290 in either scenario will feed to Mix 2 In 2. Good Luck!
