Expression pedal options

So why does the Ground Control allow you to pick the various functions of your expression pedal? I mean, why should I pick Pitch Bend on the unit when I still have to program my G Major 2 to use that pedal for pitch shifting, volume, time, etc?

Pitch Bend as a setting within the Ground Control Pro is specifically for remotely controlling the pitch wheel on keyboards.

If you are controlling various effect parameters on a G-Major 2, you will assign individual Control change numbers for the Expression Pedal within each Ground Control Pro preset. I hope that helps.
