If you route the G-Major into the MIDI path so it is directly after the GCX, then route the G-Major MIDI Out (NOT Thru!) to the next device in the chain, do you still see the same problem?

If I route it that way ,the next device in the chain, the cfx4, does not work,no switching. Using midi thru there is switching.and problem is still there. As i said before,i tryed hooking the GC directly to the cfx4 {with its custom cable connected}and the g major set to off in set up.P1 and P2 enabled and calibrated .With only{either} one ex/pedal connected ..no issues ...with 2 connected and both in the fully off position...000..the bounce happens ..with one{ either} ex pedal set above 28-127 , no problems! I must say that the bank Y1- Y4 is set up like this..Y1 channel 1 on MK4 ..Y2 channel 2 ..Y3 channel 3.. Y4 channel 1.Pressing Y3 again and again will flip between Y2,Y3 .The flip seems to only happen when a bank has the mk 4 channel 2 programmed in the ?/2 bank position.Both of my GC have the same issue. I have just about given up!I am sure i must be doing something wrong.

Are you sure that the G-Major and the CFX-4 are set to receive on different MIDI channels? For the CFX-4 to stop responding when routed after the G-Major MIDI out means that the G-Major "thinks" the messages are intended for itself only and thus will not send them downstream. Are the G-Major and CFX-4 both named within the Ground Control?
