Use Button 3/4 as Tap in 10 Preset mode

Post by hogan666 »

Hi

I just bought myself a ground control pro (it has not been shipped yet) and tried to understand how to program the device.

I'm coming from the Behringer FCB1010. So I'm used to have 10 presets which sends a program change to my Boss GT-Pro. The Ground Control does this nice in 10-Preset Mode.

So I have the two buttons (3 & 4) bottom right unused.

My question:
Is it possible to use these 2 Buttons for sending CCs to use em as tap, ctrl,...?

Thanks, Markus.

Buttons 3 and 4 ARE in fact purposed in the 10 Presets Per Bank mode. They allow you to increment/decriment/step through the Ground Control Pro presets.

However, to answer your question, they cannot be configured as a tap tempo. Only the instant access buttons can do that, which you must have the GCP in the 4 Preset Per Bank mode in order to use.

You can, however, connect an external latching switch to the expression pedal jacks on the Ground Control Pro and assign it as a tap tempo. We have them available for order or if you wish to make your own we can provide a schematic to aid you in doing so.

Thanks a lot Jon for the fast reply.

I'll have a look when I have the unit beside me,
maybe the question will answer themselves ;-)

If not I drop you a line.

Cheers, Markus.
