About old GCX's buffered in/out...

Post by ejohnson »

Hi

I got an used 1994's GCX recently.( two buffered FEED THRU IN/OUT )
Is it possible to modify two buffered in/out to "buffered and passive in/out", like a current product?

Thanks.

If you want a hard wire (non buffered) feed through then you could remove the jacks for Feedthru 2 from the circuit board and connect them internally with a shielded cable. You would lose the buffered split capability where Feedthru 1 on the front panel splits to both outputs on the rear panel unless you are clever with the wiring.

Thanks for reply, John. I'd better forget about it. :-)
