Problems with Channel Switching

Is one side of your Insert cable just hanging out or is it connected to a GCX loop?

I have the Ring in the GCX. The other is not plugged in.

If you want to control the effects loop you will need to plug the other side of the Insert Cable into an unused GCX Loop. This will give you independent control over the amp channels and the effects loop bypass.
