PX8 plus question

Hello, I’m hooking a tuner up to my new px8 and I’m wondering if I hook the tuners input to the send but do not hook the output up to the px8’s return if this will allow me to silently tune? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Not connecting the Return will in fact mute the signal when the loop is active.

What tuner are you using? If it is itself true bypass, and mutes when active, then I would suggest routing it before the PX-8 Plus so you don't use up a loop. That is how I run a Polytune in a PX-8 Plus rig.
