Kingsley Jester - Thump using current doubler cable

Post by Ricardo »

Hi! I'm a 4x4 user and bought a current doubler (green) cable and a reverse polarity (white) cable to power my Kingsley Jester V2 combining the two high current 12V outlets. It does power, but I hear a loud 'thump' when I switch it on and off and that just doesn't happen using the factory DC adapter.

How can I solve it? Other pedals on the board are a Korg Mini tuner, a Fulltone 69 and Moogerfooger MF 103 and MF 104 MSD

Thanks

Hmm... each of the 12VDC outputs has a paired 9VDC output, are these paired 9V outputs empty (if not, that may be the reason)?

Any better?
