Best tuner to use with Voodoolab 2 power supply.

Hello.
I'm new to the forum and have a question or 2. Can someone recommend a tuner I can use with my Voodoolab 2 power supply? I really like the Boss TU-3 but mine died. I've purchased 2 Boss TU-3 Chromatic tuners that were dead out of the box. While troubleshooting I found there could be an issue using my Voodoolab 2 power supply, something about the polarity is reversed and the V2 could burn a diode out. So.....

1. is this true?
2. Can you recommend a tuner that works well with my power supply?

TU-3 powers same as any standard/Boss 9V battery type pedal...

To power the TU-3 use any 9VDC output with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

But, don't have any particular suggestion on which tuner, sorry.
